Fire Safety

Fire safety is covered by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and applies to all businesses, however small. Under the Order, it is the responsibility of the employer to carry out fire risk assessments and to put in place the appropriate systems and procedures to protect its employees, contractors and members of the public from the risks of fire. It is not the responsibility of the Fire Service, who’s role is to carry out audits to ensure that the Order has been complied with.
